Job Description: North Central Texas weekly looking for staff writer/ reporter to help lead an already well established newsroom. Our area covers five school districts, three municipalities and county government. We are nestled right between Lake Texoma and Lake Ray Roberts and have two sister papers that we overlap some coverage with. Essentially, we need someone who can crank out copy, help edit copy, organize stringers, maintain beats and be the face of the newspaper to the community. This is a position that could eventually lead to an editorial spot. Ability to cover sports, graphic design experience and a college degree all encouraged but not required.
