Public Information Officer Assistant

Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, Public Information Office DESCRIPTION: The P.I.O Assistant is under the supervision of the P.I.O. Coordinator and is responsible for updating the mailing list, writing Requisitions and Check Requests, typing documents for the newspaper, reporting/writing for the newspaper, taking photographs, answering phones, scanning birthday and other pictures, invoicing and billing for advertisements, sell advertising, design advertising and abide by all Tribal policies and procedures. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with some college hours required or an ability to demonstrate writing skills and ability to learn computer software programs. Writing and selling advertising with interest in journalism. Strong ability to interact with people in a friendly and intelligent manner and must be at ease with the public. Familiarity with the Cheyenne-Arapaho service area and culture. Current Oklahoma Driver’s License required.
