Officed in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the news staff covers Carter and adjacent counties. Responsibilities include covering meetings and events, writing feature and special section stories, photo assignments, processing web material and some page layout depending on skill set. We currently use Photoshop and InDesign programs for processing information. This position is being funded by the Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation and pays $8.50 per hour for a 40-hour week for 8 weeks.
